My writing buddy, aka canine consultant, is nudging me to make the next Lora Weaver mystery more like this earlier book, The Pas de Deux.

The Pas de Deux book includes Lora's cat and dog, but it also features Mignon—a visiting poodle with a nose for sleuthing.

To make her point, as I write, my canine consultant is cozying up with the book here. At least I think that's her point;)
